Painting the Bedroom
I'd wanted to paint the bedroom for a while but couldn't come up with a colour until I put up the canopy, which demanded red walls. Due to the size of the room - and our living space - I was only able to do half of it at a time as I scooched various furniture around the room. It took 4 coats of red to cover. Apparently I should have used tinted primer, which would have saved one coat. And there's already a large scratch in the paint on Theo's side of the bed, which he denies any knowledge of. Grrr!
